Production Associate

Production Associate – Avient Corporation Join the Avient team as a Production Associate. This entry‑level manufacturing position is responsible for weigh‑up or packaging duties within the production department, ensuring high quality at an optimal cost. Pay and Hours Pay: $20 Hours: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm Days: Monday – Friday Responsibilities Obtain proper batch documentation and correct ingredients; mix or weigh to meet recipe specifications. Set up and start weigh‑up or packaging machinery, following operating/safety procedures. Notify personnel of any issues, problems or concerns promptly. Process, batch off, screen, cut up, package and/or skid material to correct size/container per customer specifications. Support Production Operators with appropriate materials/functions to keep equipment operational. Perform machine cleaning and maintain required paperwork. Follow safety regulations and maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Qualifications High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Preferred industrial operations experience. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical skills for calculations and conversions between units (weight, volume, density, distance, etc.). Physical Demands Standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders/stairs. May lift, push, or pull up to 50 lb. Frequent communication in a noisy manufacturing environment. Use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, and respiratory protection. Exposure to weather conditions, heat, humidity, dust, and fumes.
