Arizona Litigation Attorney (Remote)

Latitude Legal is seeking Arizona-licensed Litigation Attorneys with at least 2 years of experience to join a nationally recognized insurance defense and trial firm on a full-time, permanent basis in the firm's Scottsdale, Arizona office. The ideal candidate will be based in Arizona and may work on a remote basis, with the flexibility and willingness to come into the office periodically for collaboration, hearings, or team needs.The firm handles a broad mix of insurance defense matters, including premises liability, professional liability, personal injury/catastrophic accidents, construction defect/accidents, employment-related disputes, and more. This role offers meaningful, hands-on responsibility for managing active caseloads, drafting and arguing motions, conducting and defending depositions, developing discovery strategy, preparing cases for mediation and trial, and working directly with clients. It’s a strong fit for litigators who want real courtroom-facing experience and structured trial development within a growing Arizona team.What You’ll Do Includes:Manage active Arizona civil litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution, including discovery, law and motion, depositions, mediation, and trial preparationDraft and argue motions; take and defend depositions; appear in court independently as neededEvaluate liability, damages, and exposure early, and develop practical defense strategies aligned with carrier and business objectivesWork directly with clients and claims professionals, providing clear, strategic updates and budget-conscious case managementCollaborate with partners and attorneys across offices on complex or high-exposure mattersWho You Are:Arizona-licensed attorney with 2+ years of civil litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense or comparable high-volume litigationDemonstrated ability to manage a caseload with increasing independence, including handling discovery, drafting and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositionsComfortable supporting and preparing cases for trial, with direct trial or second-chair experience strongly valuedStrategic, detail-oriented, and capable of evaluating cases beyond surface-level analysis, identifying risk, leverage points, and early resolution opportunitiesStrong writing, analysis, and client communication skillsFamiliar with litigation billing and timekeeping requirementsProfessional, responsive, and able to manage assignments independently in a remote/hybrid setup.Licensed to practice law in Arizona and in good standing.J.D. from an accredited law schoolOutstanding referencesLocated in Arizona and willing to come into the office from time to time.Position Details:Type of Role: PermanentSchedule: Full-TimeLocation: Remote (AZ)Compensation:Pay: The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000, plus applicable bonuses.
