Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in Overland Park, KS.Summary:The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and reporting capabilities, and an interest in consumer, category, and market research. Success in this role requires curiosity, critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to transform diverse data inputs into meaningful business recommendations and compelling stories. This position will work across reporting & analytics and insights functions, supporting business reviews, innovation projects, strategic initiatives, and market research efforts.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Market Research, or a related field
• 2-3+ years of experience in business analysis, reporting, analytics, market research, consumer insights, or related disciplines
• Experience using business intelligence and visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable platforms
• Strong Excel skills including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings and tell a compelling story with data
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and move projects forward independently
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple quantitative and qualitative sources into clear business recommendations
• Comfortable working with ambiguous business questions and navigating data that may be incomplete, unstructured, or highly manual

Preferred:

• Experience working with syndicated or third-party market data sources such as Nielsen, Circana/IRI, Kantar, Numerator, or similar platforms
• Experience supporting consumer insights, market research, innovation, or strategy functions
• Experience coordinating external research vendors or managing research projects
• Project management experience or demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
• Familiarity with industry reports, competitive intelligence, and consumer research methodologies
• Exposure to category management, market share analysis, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
