Requirements - CDL Class A
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable OTR experience
- 23 years of age or older
- HAZMAT Endorsement Preferred
- Strong work ethic, responsibility & positive attitude

- Home time: 3 weeks out/ flexible home time
- 2020 - 2024 Freightliners Cascadia, LED headlights, Fridge, microwave & Inverter
- Brand new dry van trailers
- Light HAZMAT only (paints, batteries, cleaning supplies, etc.)
- 24/7 Dispatch Support (All dispatchers & Ops Managers are former drivers)
- Full-Time, steady work

- Extra Stop Pay: $50 per stop
- Detentions
- Safety Bonus: $100 - $300
- Referral Bonus: $400 after 30 days on duty
- Sign on bonus total of $4,000
Vacancy description
Drive with Pulse Express in Slidell as an OTR CDL specialist transporting HazMat freight in dry van trailers.
Core Functions:
- Safely haul hazardous materials across regional and national routes
- Comply with all DOT and company policies
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip checks
- Maintain precise delivery and mileage documentation
Earn $2,200–$3,100 per week, $0.70–$0.75 per mile, and a sign-on bonus up to $4,000. Benefit from 24/7 dispatch support, extra compensation for stops and detentions, and safety bonuses. Our pet-friendly, driver-focused approach supports your professional growth and job satisfaction.
