Pulmonary Function/Rehab Tech (FT; 40hrs/wk)

Performs routine pulmonary function testing (Spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, airway resistance, thoracic gas volume, respiratory muscle strength). Performs routine exercise studies such as oxygen titration and 6-minute walks, resting energy expenditure. Performs set-up and teaching for Home Sleep testing. Trains and educates clinical staff.

Education: Associate's Degree AMA approved school of respiratory care or pulmonary function technology Required Experience: 1 year experience in pulmonary rehabilitation and/or pulmonary function testing Preferred General Experience in calibrating equipment, performing quality control procedures, and conducting a clinical exercise test Preferred Licenses: Cert Pulmonary Function Tech Required or Cert Respiratory Therapist Required or Reg Pulmonary Function Tech Required Basic Life Support Required Reg Respiratory Therapist Preferred Amer College of Sports Med. Preferred
