Details Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit of a hospital Night shift schedule No blocked scheduling permitted Requirements Active NY RN license required at time of consideration BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required 2 years of recent ICU experience required in the specialty Epic EMR experience required Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year required (charge nurse references not accepted) No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted) Medical exemption required for flu vaccine declination (personal or religious exemptions not accepted) Additional Information Provide critical care nursing services to neurological and surgical ICU patients Competency testing required for consideration, with up to 2 attempts to pass More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out RTO must be requested at time of consideration Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible American Traveler Job ID P-734104.
