Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Circulator

Location

Crestview, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days – 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Rotating weekends | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other surgical team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards
• Ensure availability of necessary supplies and maintain timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards as needed
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases as required
• Participate in on-call coverage: expected 6–8 on-call shifts per month (1–2 per week); weeknight call runs 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM; weekend call is a 24-hour shift (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (or eligible) in the state of Florida
• Minimum 2 years of OR Circulator experience
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• PALS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Robotic surgical experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume surgical environment
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical specialties and procedures
• Strong communication skills with multidisciplinary surgical teams and patient families
