Our Groundskeepers play a critical role in creating communities that residents are proud to call home and ensuring our properties consistently make a great first impression.Position DetailsPosition: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMCompensation: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experienceLocation: Dover, New Philadelphia, and surrounding communitiesWhat You'll DoAs a Groundskeeper, you'll be responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance of multiple apartment communities, single-family homes, and commercial properties.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Mow lawns using both push mowers and zero-turn mowersRemove weeds and maintain landscape bedsTrim grass around sidewalks, fencing, buildings, and landscapingPerform seasonal leaf removal and general landscape cleanupComplete snow removal and apply salt/deicer during winter weatherPick up trash and debris throughout assigned propertiesPower wash sidewalks, building exteriors, patios, and common areas as neededComplete light exterior maintenance projects including painting, fence repairs, and general property upkeepInspect properties for safety concerns and maintenance issues and communicate findings to managementHelp prepare communities for property walks, inspections, and new resident move-insEnsure every property consistently reflects Mason Equity Group's standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and curb appealWhat We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates will possess:Valid driver's licenseReliable transportationAbility to safely pull and maneuver a utility trailer preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyAbility to prioritize work across multiple propertiesDependability with excellent attendanceAbility to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the dayComfortable working outdoors in all seasons and weather conditionsPrevious landscaping, groundskeeping, lawn care, maintenance, or related experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidateBenefits & GrowthWe believe in investing in our team.Competitive hourly payMileage reimbursement when using your personal vehicleCompany vehicle eligibility after 90 days based on performance and driving recordOpportunities for advancement within a rapidly growing property management companyStable, full-time, year-round employmentWork with a leadership team that values initiative, accountability, and professional growthWhy Mason Equity Group?At Mason Equity Group, we believe the condition of our properties reflects the pride we take in our work.
