About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical ICU setting, managing a mixed case load including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Perform competent ICU and Med/Surg nursing care across an 11-bed unit with dedicated patient cohorts
• Participate in weekend rotation (2 out of 4 weekends) and holiday rotation as scheduled
• Float to additional facilities within the health system as required
• Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season for unvaccinated staff

• Active Wisconsin RN License
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Med/Surg experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Demonstrated ability to manage change and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented approach
• Assertive, confident clinical skill set with a resilient work ethic

• Expected 36 hours per week with the potential for additional shift pickup opportunities
• Low census hours are tracked and managed within contract terms, with call-back pay available if called back to the facility during on-call periods
