Shift Manager – McDonald's Join to apply for the Shift Manager role at McDonald’s. This position is in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is the employer and is responsible for all employment matters. Responsibilities Lead the experience: Handle and oversee crew schedules. Inspire and empower: Provide encouraging leadership to crew and managers to deliver an outstanding guest experience. Ensure teamwork: Supervise and lead food safety and cleanliness measures to meet McDonald’s standards. Manage safety, security, inventory and profitability. Encourage learning: Cultivate and encourage training, education and continued learning within the restaurant. Focus on results: Drive and expect a high level of performance from the team. Qualifications Passion for helping and serving others. Strong customer service and support focus. Effective communication and anticipation of customer needs. Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Requirements Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment, but it is not required. The applicant must be 18 years or older.
