Position Overview
Touch of Peace Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a remote, telehealth setting. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential mental health care to clients in Savannah, Georgia, as well as surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in improving the mental well-being of individuals, couples, and families through tailored therapeutic interventions and support.

Work Environment
This role is remote, utilizing telehealth technology to provide therapy sessions, which allows for flexibility and convenience. Our team is equipped with state-of-the-art digital tools to facilitate effective remote interactions. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. The ability to adapt to varying scheduling requirements is a key aspect of this role, ensuring our clients receive timely access to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and concerns of clients, allowing for the development of effective, personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to address the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families.
- Facilitate psychoeducational programs and support groups that provide community and shared experiences for clients facing common mental health challenges.
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health care professionals to offer comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.
- Provide crisis intervention services and mental health support during emergencies, ensuring safety and stability for clients in need.
- Educate clients about mental health, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to enhance therapeutic practices.
- Stay informed about current research and advancements in the field of mental health to continually improve service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a mental health therapist at Touch of Peace Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.
- Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective therapeutic plans.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to a broad spectrum of populations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with team members.
- Strong professional ethics and sound judgment in clinical practices.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience is essential for this position, with a preference for candidates that can demonstrate a successful track record in a telehealth setting. Familiarity with crisis intervention and community resource navigation will be advantageous in providing comprehensive care.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
