Genesis Medical Center - Silvis - TT

Respiratory Therapist

This position requires working every other weekend. One holiday is required during the duration of the assignment. Candidates must possess ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications. The Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients with respiratory conditions. This role involves assisting physicians in managing and treating patients. The therapist will perform assessments and utilize appropriate therapies. Collaboration with healthcare team members is essential for patient care. Strong communication skills are necessary for educating patients and families. The therapist will document all care provided in the patient's medical record. Adaptability and critical thinking are crucial in this fast-paced environment. The role may involve working with various age groups, including infants and adults. A commitment to patient safety and quality care is expected.
