Insurance Agent – Shelter Insurance Companies Join to apply for the Insurance Agent role at Shelter Insurance Companies . This opportunity is located in Ontario, OH . We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who wants to make a difference in their community and grow a home‑based business with a generous commission structure. Desire to meet new people, develop contacts, and become known in the community. Passionate about serving the community. Motivated to grow sales, business, and networking skills. Have a desire to control own income. Ready to start a business without high start‑up costs. No previous insurance background is required. We offer in‑house and virtual training, with continuing education to help you launch your own agency. We expect you to meet sales requirements and core business proficiencies. As an agent, you will primarily sell Shelter products, but you may eventually bring on staff to help with administrative duties.
