General Comments: MCP Rehabilitation Therapy Services consist of 1. Physical Therapy; 2. Occupational Therapy; 3. Speech Therapy. All three departments serve an acute care hospital (trauma level 1, neuroscience, ICUs, ECMO, burn, oncology, ortho & spine floors @ 600 beds) and inpatient rehabilitation (40 beds).

General Information: Number of Beds: Not specified. Number of Staff: 27 FT PTs/ 19 FT OTs/ 9 FT STs. Type of staff: Day shift only. Director, manager, PT super., OT super. & ST super, PT/OT/ST staff. Patient Ratios: Not specified. Type of equipment: Therapy equipment. EMR: Meditech. On Call Requirement: None. Floating Requirement: None. Must work 2 weekend shifts a month as rotation.

Typical hiring profile: Skill set most recruited for: Acute care hospital skills & inpatient rehab - PT, OT, ST. Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. PT Must have at least 1-year experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings. OT - Must have at least 1-year experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings. ST - Must have at least 2 years of full-time acute care hospital (Level 1 trauma preferred) or LTAC experience. Must be highly skilled at the completion of modified barium swallow studies. Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. In general candidates whose work history consists solely of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and/or outpatient settings and/or Pediatrics or School setting will not be considered.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): 1 on 1 providing PT (or OT or ST) treatments to patients. ST in addition needs to complete MBSS studies in radiology.
