Machine Operator Assistant

Job Description

Express Employment Professional is currently hiring for a Machine Operator Assistant for our client in Buffalo, NY. Their product/service lines include metal fabrication, stairs, rooftop supports, Unistrut, system installation and traffic safety.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $18.63-21.57/hour based on experience

Duties:

Assist the Machine Operators on shear cutting, press brake, cobot welding, saw, or assembling machinery.
Help place and remove pieces from the machine.
Must have excellent tape measuring skills and mechanical ability.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating machinery.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
Ability to stand and move for the duration of a shift.
Steel-toe boots required.
Reliable transportation.
