As a Unit Assistant, you'll support our nursing staff by helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while assisting with non-clinical resident needs. 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

3:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Must be available to work every other weekend Responsibilities Change linens on unoccupied beds. Organize and straighten residents' closets and drawers, and place personal belongings in storage baggies as needed. Escort and transport residents to and from the dining room, activities, and other designated areas. Assist with meal service by passing trays, serving in the dining room, opening containers, and setting up meal trays. Distribute ice water, hydration, snacks, and towels. Assist with and help lead scheduled unit activities. Respond promptly to call lights and notify a CNA or Charge Nurse when assistance is needed. Provide one-on-one visits with residents and assist with attendance during activities. Perform other non-direct care duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents and staff. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a valid AZ fingerprint clearance card. Demonstrate a genuine interest in healthcare and providing compassionate service to older adults. Possess the physical ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 25 pounds without assistance. Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills are preferred.
