Medical Assistant - CMA/MA

$1033.60/week - Job Summary: The Medical Assistant (MA) supports physicians and practice staff by providing efficient patient care and administrative assistance. This role requires minimal training and immediate contribution in a busy specialty practice setting, ensuring high patient satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Prepare patients for examinations and procedures to facilitate smooth workflow. Perform technical tasks such as vital signs, specimen collection, and EMR documentation. Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide information and reassurance. Support physicians during patient visits, including rooming and assisting with procedures. Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling, data entry, and documentation. Maintain clinical areas and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Qualifications: Hold a valid Medical Assistant (MA) credential with at least 18 months of CMA or MA experience. Demonstrate proficiency in patient care tasks and with EMR systems, preferred EPIC experience. Possess excellent communication skills and a patient-focused attitude. Be able to work scheduled hours, including extended hours on Tuesdays and beyond regular shift times if necessary. Be willing to attend a 4-hour virtual EMR training session.
