Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

$1836.00/week –

Job Summary:

Provides specialized respiratory care to patients across various clinical settings, including emergency, intensive care, and therapeutic treatments. Ensures accurate monitoring, equipment maintenance, patient education, and participates in quality improvement activities to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions according to physician orders.

• Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatments as needed.

• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Educate patients and families on pulmonary and cardiopulmonary conditions and management.

• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.

• Possess a valid NBRC credential and current state license for Michigan.

• Maintain BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

• Demonstrate proficiency in invasive and non-invasive monitoring techniques.

• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
