Openwork is seeking an organized and dependable Justice Court Clerk for a full-time opportunity in Houston, TX. We're looking for someone with strong clerical, computer, and customer service skills who can accurately support daily court operations. Location: Houston, TX 77388

Pay: $15.01 per hour | Weekly Pay

Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM | 30-Minute Lunch

Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintain court dockets, records, and files.
• Prepare correspondence and other court documents.
• Coordinate court appearances.
• Administer oaths as required.
• Perform accurate data entry.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Prepare certified copies and reports.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation.
• Assist with general clerical and court-related duties as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ year of computer and clerical experience required.
• 1+ year of paralegal, legal, court, or judicial system experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable assisting callers and the public in a professional manner.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Dependable attendance and professional demeanor.
