About the role The Asset Protection Specialist has thorough knowledge of KnitWell Group’s security and life safety procedures. Performs duties as a floor officer and acts as a deterrent to theft.Responds to and proactively addresses life safety, security, and operational issues. Flexibility to work overtime as required. The impact you can have Checks employee ID badges to control facilityaccess and logs visitors/contractors. Monitors facilities CCTV, fire/burglar, and access control systems Answers and transfers internal/external phone calls as part of Front Desk procedures. Conducts dailyand monthly audits and facility inspections (i.e. compliance audits, safety/security checklists, etc.) Responsible for initiating internal/external investigations based off daily inspections findings and/or information received from other sources Secures facility during non-operational hours Provides after-hour security service/surveillance (walk and/or monitor associates to their automobile, etc.) to associates in times of need Responsible for overseeing incident/injury reporting and applies first aid in times of need Tracking and monitoring all damaged, pilfered carton reports Responsible for initiating and controlling Emergency Response Performs other administrative duties as needed by AP Management You’ll bring to the role Minimum of six months experience in Asset Protection/Loss Prevention or security preferred High School diploma or equivalent Must be flexible to work any hours required Self-motivated; must be able to work with little or no supervision First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.
