About the Role

Step into a hands-on finance role that sits at the heart of plant operations. As a Multi‑Site Plant Finance Business Partner, you’ll support several manufacturing locations, pairing sharp cost accounting with practical, on-the-floor insights to guide decisions and elevate performance.

Work model: Hybrid, based in Aurora. Travel: Up to 30% to partner with plant teams on site.

A Day in the Life

Your morning might begin by reviewing production outputs, labor trends, and material usage from yesterday’s runs. Midday, you’re shoulder‑to‑shoulder with plant leadership, translating those signals into actions to improve productivity and margin. In the afternoon, you reconcile inventory movements, fine‑tune product costing, and update forecasts—closing the loop with clear reporting and recommendations for the weeks ahead.

What You’ll Do

• Own plant‑level financials for multiple sites, including accounting, cost analysis, and management reporting.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to plant managers—turning operational data into clear guidance that improves profitability and throughput.
• Lead annual budgets and monthly forecasts; analyze and explain variances to plan and to prior periods.
• Ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and timely manufacturing cost reporting.
• Partner with operations to interpret results across labor, materials, and overhead and to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain robust internal controls and adherence to corporate policies and GAAP.
• Evaluate capital investment proposals with ROI modeling and post‑implementation reviews.
• Support internal and external audits and follow through on corrective actions.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
• 3+ years in manufacturing finance; experience supporting multiple sites is a strong plus.
• Depth in cost accounting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
• ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Clear communicator with both financial and non‑financial audiences.
• History of driving process improvements and cost control initiatives.
