You will work directly with General Managers and culinary teams to ensure accurate ordering, proper receiving, product rotation, and disciplined inventory control.If you have managed kitchens, ordered food for a busy restaurant, controlled par levels, and protected food cost in a fast-paced environment - we want to speak with you.What You'll Be Responsible ForOverseeing daily and weekly food & beverage ordering across multiple airport restaurant unitsMonitoring par levels and adjusting based on seasonality, sales trends, and airport trafficEnsuring proper receiving, storage, and FIFO executionCoaching managers on ordering accuracy and waste controlReviewing invoices and resolving discrepanciesMonitoring product usage and identifying shrink or over-orderingSupporting new unit openings with product setup and ordering processesEnsuring compliance with approved vendor programsPartnering with operations leaders to protect margin and minimize wasteWhat You Must BringMinimum 3 years of hands-on restaurant purchasing, kitchen management, or food inventory leadership experienceStrong understanding of perishable food products (proteins, produce, dairy, dry goods)Experience setting and managing par levelsExperience conducting physical inventory and reconciling variancesComfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume food environmentAbility to coach restaurant managers on ordering disciplineBasic computer proficiency (email, inventory systems, spreadsheets)What Will Make You SuccessfulYou've personally ordered food for a busy restaurant or multi-unit operationYou understand how waste, spoilage, and portion control impact food costYou are comfortable walking into a kitchen and identifying operational inefficienciesYou are detail-oriented and hands-onYou can influence others while holding them accountableAdditional StatementsThis role reports directly to local Operations Leadership with partnership to Corporate Procurement.SSP America is an equal opportunity employer.
