Location: Montgomery, NY

Pay: $21 an hour

Shift: 1:30pm-10pm Monday-Friday

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting efficient warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. This position focuses on receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping products, while safely operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maintain accurate inventory, and work collaboratively to ensure orders are processed quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming items and verify quantities and accuracy against documentation.

• Pick products from designated locations to fulfill customer and internal orders using order selecting devices.

• Pack items and boxes securely and accurately to prepare shipments for transport.

• Stage, transport, and ship items throughout the warehouse using appropriate material handling equipment.

• Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently as needed.

• Perform order picking, loading, and unloading of trucks in accordance with operational procedures.

• Assist with warehouse inventory tasks to help maintain accurate stock levels and organization.

• Clean totes and perform minor utility tasks to support cleanliness and functionality throughout the facility.

• Use basic computer systems to access orders, update inventory information, and complete required documentation.

• Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation, to maintain a safe work environment.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality goals in a fast-paced setting.

Essential Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or retail environment.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

• Knowledge of forklift or pallet jack operation and safe utilization.

• Experience with warehouse inventory processes and order selection.

• Ability to perform order picking, loading, and unloading of trucks.

• Familiarity with distribution or warehouse production workflows.

• Basic computer knowledge to navigate systems and input data.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• 1–2 years of warehouse or distribution experience strongly preferred, with consideration for candidates with approximately 1 year of retail experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
