Surgery - Thoracic Physician

Locums - A well respected healthcare system is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon for ongoing call coverage in southwestern Pennsylvania
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon
- Start October 2026 for ongoing need
- 24-hour shifts; 7a-7a
- Minimum of 3-10 days of coverage per month
- Typically low overnight call volume with approximately 0-1 admissions per call shift
- Inpatient coverage with limited outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, emergency OR cases, emergency consults, and occasional outpatient follow-up
- Structural Heart experience is required
- Must be comfortable with CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and related cardiothoracic procedures
- EMR Sunrise/Allscripts and eClinical Works
- Active PA license or IMLC in hand, ACLS, BLS, DEA, recent case logs
