About the Role

The Company is seeking an Independent Board Member with a focus on Healthcare IT, particularly in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) market. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing strategic guidance for the company's expansion into this sector, advising on market trends, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of ASC operations, workflows, and the competitive landscape, as well as the ability to refine messaging, positioning, and commercial strategy for facility-based surgical organizations. The ideal candidate will have executive leadership experience within the ASC ecosystem, a strategic mindset, and the ability to leverage industry relationships to support business development. Key responsibilities for the Independent Board Member include participating in strategic sales discussions, supporting leadership in partnership opportunities, and providing insight into operational best practices and workflow challenges within surgical facilities. The role also involves helping the company avoid strategic missteps as it expands into more complex facility environments and serving as a trusted advisor to both executive leadership and private equity stakeholders. While not mandatory, experience with private equity-backed organizations and a background in board or advisory roles are preferred. The candidate should be a strong communicator, with the ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels, and must demonstrate a strong cultural alignment with a collaborative, growth-oriented leadership team.
