About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to provide on-site support for process development and process validation activities at our contract manufacturer in Tijuana, Mexico.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
  
• Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
  
• Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
  
• Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
  
• May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
  
• Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
  
• Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
  
• Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  
• Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
  

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years' experience in a regulated industry, or Advanced degree in Engineering with 0 years of experience.
  
• Must have valid Passport and be able and willing to travel to Tijuana minimum 3 days per week.
  

Nice To Have:

• Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical degree strongly preferred.
  
• Medical device industry experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$68,000.00 - $116,000.00

For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the base salary range is $76,000 to $128,000 annually.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).
