About Local Station

Local Station is a contemporary Southern kitchen and bar rooted in the flavors of Northeast Georgia. We serve seasonal, locally inspired food and handcrafted cocktails in a welcoming, upscale casual setting. We are part of Jack's Brand Restaurant Group, a family-owned hospitality company with five concepts across the region.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated, coachable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You don't need years of experience, you need a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in food done right. We'll teach you the rest. Cooks who show up consistently and demonstrate growth can expect to see it reflected in their pay quickly.

What You'll Do

• Execute menu items to recipe and plating standards with speed and consistency
• Set up, maintain, and break down your station in accordance with health and safety standards
• Communicate clearly with the line during service to maintain pacing and quality
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage throughout each shift
• Assist with prep work to ensure station readiness before service
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment
• Learn quickly, take feedback well, and bring a positive attitude every shift

What We're Looking For

• Some kitchen experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person
• A strong work ethic and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up as a team player
• Basic knife skills and a comfort level around a hot line are a plus
• Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation & Growth

• Starting pay: $15-19 per hour
