Monroe Transmission in Newcastle, CA is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team! Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair transmission systems, drivetrains, and related components

Remove and Replace transmissions, drivetrains, and related components

Perform routine maintenance services including transmission fluid and filter replacements

Execute accurate and efficient repairs on domestic and foreign vehicles

Utilize diagnostic scan tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with shop standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic

Transmission repair experience strongly preferred

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and hand/power tools

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
