An Insurance Agent plays a crucial role within a sales team by consulting with clients to assess their insurance needs, recommending appropriate policies, and assisting with claims. This office-based position primarily focuses on acquiring new clients while also managing relationships with existing clients to provide ongoing customer support.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to evaluate their insurance requirements
- Sell insurance policies tailored to client needs
- Assist clients with filing and managing insurance claims
- Provide excellent customer support and follow-up
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in insurance sales
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State insurance license
- Strong customer service and sales techniques
- Knowledge of risk assessment
- Effective communication skills
- Good time management abilities
