Charge Nurse (RN) - Surgical Unit - Night Shift

Role Overview The RN in the Surgical Unit provides safe, compassionate, and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with healthcare teams to manage patients with surgical and nonsurgical conditions. Key Responsibilities Assess and reassess patients' health needs across various age groups and conditions, involving patients, families, and providers. Analyze assessments to determine diagnoses and expected outcomes, coordinating care plans accordingly. Implement nursing interventions guided by evidence-based practices, regulations, and policies. Evaluate patient outcomes through critical thinking and evidence-based knowledge. Serve as a department leader in the absence of the Nurse Manager and promote bedside handoffs during shift changes. Maintain ACLS certification and adhere to professional practice standards. Qualifications and Skills Diploma or ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred. One year of RN experience preferred; equivalent education and experience considered. Current Oklahoma RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required, with training during orientation if less than one year of experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Live Well Homecare
