Travel Physical Therapist - $1,886 per week

Job Summary Travel Physical Therapist – Houston, Texas. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the facility, following applicable guidelines. Comply with the PT board’s rules and state regulations. Collaborate with medical center personnel and physicians to coordinate team‑focused care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment. Create and modify plans of care based on patient progress. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of clinical experience; 1 year preferred. Active state PT license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical ability to stand, walk, flex, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
