Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) to patients with complex medical conditions. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through monitoring, assessment, and intervention, ensuring safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs, neurological status, and other clinical indicators diligently.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate issues as needed.
• Educate patients and families regarding condition, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
