Warehouse Loader - Night Shift

At Andalusia Distributing Company (ADC}, the Warehouse Loader is responsible for accurately loading customer orders onto delivery trucks, ensuring products are stacked safely, organized correctly, and prepared for efficient route delivery. This role supports ADC's daily distribution operations by maintaining load accuracy, protecting product quality, and working closely with shipping and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Load outbound trucks with customer orders according to route sheets, load maps, and ADC standards.
• Verify product accuracy by checking labels, quantities, and pallet configuration before loading.
• Stack and secure freight to prevent damage during transport, using proper load-stabilizing techniques.
• Work in dry, cooler, and freezer environments to load temperature-specific products.
• Stage pallets and orders in designated loading zones for efficient workflow.
• Use pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment (if certified) to move products safely.
• Communicate with selectors, drivers, and supervisors to resolve discrepancies or missing items.
• Maintain a clean and organized dock area, removing debris, broken pallets, and keeping aisles clear.
• Follow all ADC safety policies, including PPE requirements, equipment procedures, and food-safety guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as pallet sorting, restocking, and inventory support when needed.

• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly and work in dry, refrigerated, and freezer zones.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet nightly loading deadlines.
• Basic reading and math skills for verifying orders and load sheets.
• Previous warehouse, loading, or distribution experience preferred.
