About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified OR RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46201!

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a unit focused exclusively on abdominal transplant procedures, including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral transplants
• Perform regulatory charting specific to transplant cases in accordance with facility and compliance standards using Cerner
• Fulfill an on-call requirement of approximately 40-60 hours per 6-week period
• Float as required across multi-specialty surgical services, including all surgery types, within the hospital or to affiliate locations
• Adhere to holiday work requirements, including working 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract period

• Minimum of 2 years of strong, recent transplant OR experience required; kidney and liver experience specifically required
• Active RN license valid in Indiana (permanent, temporary, or compact) required at time of start
• BLS certification required
• Regulatory charting certification for transplants required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required
• Indiana residents are not eligible for this position

• Experience with pancreatic or intestinal/multi-visceral transplant procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Comfort and flexibility with floating across multiple surgical specialties
