Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform general cleanup of all areas of the inside of the building as directed.
• Remove garbage from all trash bins daily.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors.
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and restock soap dispensers.
• Wipe mirrors, windows, doorknobs, rails, elevator to sanitize the areas.
• Maintain outer premises by watering plants, cleaning entrances, and parking lot.
• Undertake occasional janitorial tasks such as moving chairs, tables, etc.
• Maintain the supply and equipment needed for cleaning duties.
• Meet with supervisor to make timely requests for items needed to perform the cleaning duties.
• Dust furniture and other office items.
• Wash linens, reset residential rooms

• Must be able to complete supply orders to replenish cleaning products.

• Will assist in the set-up, arranging, and removing decorations, tables, chairs for meeting and events.
• Must be familiar with the safety requirements of cleaning products.

• Work independently
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Ability to interact with staff in a professional, polite, and courteous manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of work experience in cleaning buildings. The applicant must have no criminal record and possess a valid Texas Driver's License. Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
