The Picture Framer is responsible for skillfully assembling frames and preparing artwork for display. This role involves hands-on tasks such as cutting mats, installing glass, selecting materials, and ensuring high-quality presentation while consulting with customers to meet their framing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble frames accurately and efficiently
• Cut mats to size and fit
• Install glass and backing securely
• Select appropriate framing materials
• Consult with customers to understand framing preferences
• Conduct quality inspections to maintain standards
• Handle artwork with care and precision
• Manage inventory of framing supplies
• Process customer orders promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop
