Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Every other weekend required with potential schedule adjustments based on unit needs. Floating required based on facility census and staffing needs.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities; must be comfortable with both MS and Tele patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for night shift; unit capacity of 36 beds with an average daily census of 23
• Epic EMR documentation system (minimum 1 year experience required); Omnicell medication dispensing system
• 24 hours of paid orientation provided; pre-assignment modules are billable up to 16 hours
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Physical Therapy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Patient population includes orthopedic, general surgery, and urology surgical patients; adult patient population

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
• At least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR system
• Must be able to pass an EKG examination and complete competency assessments
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:6 or similar
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Clinical skills including IV therapy, blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, PCA pumps, and isolation precautions
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (night shift specialty exception applies)
