Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions. Assign and review the work of all Facility Operations employees. Manage weekly meetings, monthly staff meetings, and bi-monthly 1-on-1 meetings with staff. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess needs and requirements related to construction and facility operations Manage and assist in developing the operational budget and capital expenditures for the department. Guide the technical and operational requirements related to JCAHO standards for facility management. Lead and manage JCAHO Accreditation process in the areas of responsibility. Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures. Evaluate and recommend facility improvements and upgrades.
