Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a facility located in Dallas, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients, including preemies, infants with respiratory needs, and patients requiring complex procedures. The position offers a dynamic work environment focused on delivering high-quality care to the most vulnerable population. Job Details Location: Dallas, Texas Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Start Date: 09/15/2026 End Date: 12/15/2026 Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification, minimum of 1 year level III NICU experience, experience with preemies of at least 28 weeks and above, management of central lines including Broviacs, respiratory management up to and including intubated patients, familiarity with procedures such as central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical and cardiac patients, care of trach infants, and familiarity with advanced neonatal procedures. Additional Information: The unit is staffed with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs. Care is provided using equipment such as nasal cannula, Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), warmers, and isolettes. The unit operates with unit-specific policies and guidelines, and staff may float to PICU, Pediatrics, or CICU areas as needed.
