Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Marketing Intern to join our security team. In the security industry, trust, reliability, and expertise are our core products. In this role, you will help amplify our brand voice, showcase our security technologies or personnel, and educate our target audience on threat landscapes and safety practices. You will gain hands-on experience in content strategy, analytics tracking, and digital brand storytelling within a fast-growing, high-stakes market.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation & Curation : Draft, edit, and publish engaging text, graphic, and short-form video content tailored for platforms like LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Facebook.
• Educational Campaigning : Help develop social media campaigns around industry-specific themes, such as cybersecurity awareness, physical asset protection, or compliance guidelines.
• Social Monitoring & Engagement : Monitor company social media channels daily, responding professionally to follower inquiries and escalating sensitive security comments or PR risks to management.
• Trend Research : Stay up to date on global security news, emerging vulnerabilities, and digital marketing trends to pitch relevant, timely content ideas.
• Analytics Tracking : Compile monthly performance metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, impressions) using platforms like HubSpot, Hootsuite, or native channel tools.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with internal security analysts, product teams, or field operations to turn complex technical data or event highlights into public-facing content.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Background : Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Industry Interest : A strong interest in or basic understanding of technology, cybersecurity, software, or corporate physical security.
• Communication Skills : Exceptional written communication skills, with an emphasis on accuracy, corporate tone, and strict attention to grammar.
• Design & Editing Tools : Proficiency with Canva or basic Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere) to produce quick social graphics and video clips.
• Professionalism : Ability to handle sensitive business landscapes with a high degree of confidentiality and corporate responsibility.
• System Familiarity : Experience using basic office suites (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and general social media scheduling software.
