Forklift Operator

Our client is an established manufacturing and distribution company seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join their team in Youngsville, NC. The ideal candidate brings proven warehouse and forklift operation experience, the ability to work independently, and the initiative to mentor and train fellow team members on operational procedures. Job Responsibilities - Safely operate stand-up and clamp truck forklifts in accordance with all applicable safety guidelines and facility standards. - Execute inventory transactions and daily operational tasks using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP software. - Monitor inventory levels throughout the facility and promptly communicate discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor. - Verify order accuracy and review logistics paperwork and transactions to ensure completeness and correctness. - Identify and resolve operational issues as they arise, applying sound judgment and problem-solving skills. - Train new and existing associates on warehouse operational procedures, excluding forklift certification training. - Transport products and materials efficiently to fulfill both internal and external customer needs. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Job Requirements - - Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience; forklift operation experience required. - Demonstrated proficiency operating sit-down, stand-up, and clamp truck forklifts. - Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms. - Strong attention to detail with solid basic math skills and the ability to accurately process and verify documentation. - Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. regularly and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and kneeling for extended periods. - Comfortable working in an environment with moving mechanical parts, elevated heat, and moderate noise levels. - High School Diploma or GED preferred. - Spanish/English Bilingual preferred By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners.
