Position Details RN/LPN – Orthopedic Clinic – Sanford Health – Bismarck, ND – 7th & Thayer Clinic – 225 N 7th St – Full time – 40 hours per week – Salary Range: $27.00–$38.50 per hour. Job Summary Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in an orthopedic clinic. Duties include assessment, patient education, triage, coordinated care, and various nursing interventions. Responsibilities Provide individualized nursing care using assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation. Coordinate care, perform patient assessment and education, triage, and other nursing interventions. Collaborate with inter‑professional team members, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Perform specialty orthopedic procedures such as staple/suture removal, cast/splint application and removal, brace application, dressing change assistance, and related tasks. Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules for scope and standards of practice. Maintain professional conduct according to the Code of Ethics for Nurses and ANSI guidelines. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA). Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Valid RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing; must be unencumbered and may hold multistate licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Demonstrated competency and completion of required department‐specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
