Location 6600 N Sarival Ave, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340-9703 Position Summary The Finance, Operations and Logistics Planner will develop and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals, including production, quality, safety and operational improvements. Responsibilities Communicate with and to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (customers, suppliers, associates). Drive and implement the area business plan to achieve facility goals. Forecast staffing, workload and performance results to meet business demands. Prepare, review and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements. Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures and directives. Identify and resolve associate, customer and supplier concerns using judgment or consulting others when needed. Supervise and manage associates and leaders by giving direction, monitoring performance, providing feedback, identifying training and development needs, providing learning opportunities, teaching, supporting and modeling logistics and company policies and procedures and participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching and evaluation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field (such as Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Operations Management). 1 year of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics or retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers or supervisors; managing workload; hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas. OR 1 year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; hiring and promotion of associates. OR 3 years of experience in an operations, distribution, logistics or retail environment with the same supervisory duties. Associates are required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Financial modeling and analysis. Managing challenging workforce issues. Modeling and forecasting. Preparing and executing budgets. Profit and Loss (P>L) accountability. Supervising associates. Walmart logistics management. Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management or Operations Management.
