Marketing Project Manager

Overview Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties has a full-time opportunity for a Marketing Project Manager in Anaheim, CA. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site/2 days remote). The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for and lead marketing operations and the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing, communication, and creative projects from concept to completion. This role will manage project timelines, workflows, budget, scope, and deliverables while ensuring initiatives are executed efficiently and to a high standard. This Marketing Project Manager will oversee day-to-day coordination across internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects stay on track and aligned with goals and brand standards. The role will also champion the creative process and supervise and oversee the day-to-day work of the Creative team, including the Creative Specialist and Copywriter. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this position will be a key member of the Marketing department and help drive operational efficiency, collaboration, and successful execution across marketing initiatives. Education and/or training within the Marketing Project Management, Marketing Operations, or related field is a plus. Minimum Work Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing project management and marketing operations. Proven experience marketing programs and projects from ideation through execution, launch, and optimization, with the ability to track and report metrics. Experience in managing internal teams and supervising staff, including setting priorities, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring timely delivery of projects. Experience managing external vendors, agencies, freelancers, and other partners, including timelines, deliverables, budgets, and quality standards. Strong understanding of the creative development process, including concepting, production, review, delivery, and trafficking phases. Experience managing projects across multiple channels, including print, email, video, digital signage, research, and graphic design. Demonstrated the ability to develop creative briefs, project plans, timelines, and workflows with clear objectives, deliverables, owners, and deadlines. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, leadership, vendors, and creative partners. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Asana or another project management software, and familiar with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Creative and solution-oriented thinker who enjoys collaborating with teams, facilitating brainstorming, and developing innovative approaches to challenges. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively, managing time, priorities, and competing deadlines. Ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively with individuals and teams representing diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and communities. Plan, manage, and execute marketing projects from inception to completion. Supervise the Creative Specialist and Copywriter and coordinate all creative needs. Project manage the development of marketing collateral and content that aligns with organization needs and priorities. Develop and present project plans outlining creative approach, stakeholders, timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets. Manage the print production process from start to finish, including estimates, budget tracking, and reconciliation. Manage consultants, agencies, suppliers, and vendors while maintaining strong relationships and optimizing resources to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery. Develop and document marketing processes, procedures, forms, and reporting. Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish timelines, manage costs, and meet deadlines. Coordinate project approvals and ensure clear, timely communication throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and resolve project blockers to keep the team and project moving forward. Manage marketing materials inventory, storage, analysis, and distribution. Review and proof marketing materials for accuracy, grammar, and consistency. Support the development and production of marketing communications and content. Maintain the marketing drive and ensure current files and projects are organized and accessible. Ensure brand consistency across trademarks, visual design, messaging, and tone. Non-Essential Functions:Other duties as assigned.
