The Fire Alarm Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing deficiencies and service on a variety of fire alarm system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliManage their time to complete the maximum amount of service and repairs while maintaining a high level of quality./liliProtect and maintain company equipment./liliComplete service reports on company tablet and ensure information is correct on deficiencies and repairs/liliAchieve any weekly productivity goals assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or designated Agent./liliLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing./liliWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies./liliMaintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized./liliPerform any other tasks assigned by the Fire Alarm Manager or Agent./li/ulpJob Qualifications:/pullistrongPrior fire alarm service experience required./strong/liliCSA FA2 license a plus but not required./liliApplicable licensing and certification required by National, State and Local codes./liliAbility to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes./liliAbility to participate in on-call rotation./liliA strong work ethic and professional appearance./liliExcellent communications, and customer service skills./liliPossess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirements./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications But Not Required:/pullistrongEST 3 or 4 Certification highly preferred but not required/strong/lilistrongProgramming experience preferred but not required./strong/liliApplicable experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity./liliA fire alarm systems background or a background working as a licensed electrician./liliAbility and willingness to obtain NICET and other trade specific certifications as necessary./li/ulpSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
