As the Senior Project Engineering Manager for the Large Commercial Engines Business, you will be responsible for leading the Digital Controls product line engineering team within the Engine Control Systems segment of Power and Controls. This position offers a unique opportunity to foster customer collaboration, improve processes, and meet future challenges. The role encompasses a variety of programs including software development, hardware improvements, obsolescence management, and cybersecurity.

What You Will Do

• Directly manage a team of 5 project engineering professionals.
• Lead hardware and software development for electronic engine controls products.
• Oversee all program phases from proposal development through production and field support.
• Support the implementation of strategic and technology advancement initiatives for the digital controls product line.
• Manage program budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Predict and mitigate technical and programmatic risks.
• Communicate effectively with engineering leadership, as well as internal and external customers.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

• Working experience with project management, including budget and schedule oversight.

The salary range for this role is $124,000 - $250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
