Marketing SpecialistUnder the supervision of the Executive Director of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of the District's marketing and public relations strategies.The Marketing Specialist will collaborate extensively with the Superintendent, Chief Development Officer, Chief of Human Resources, CFO, CLOO, ED of Marketing and Recruitment, ED of Enrollment, and CSO to ensure the marketing campaign goals and strategies of the organization are fully realized.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:Create, design, plan, and manage marketing campaigns designed to achieve the following goals:Increase student enrollmentBuild strong community relationshipsIncrease public awareness of Trinity Basin Preparatory, Inc. and the mission of the organizationRecruit high-quality employeesAttract and develop relationships with potential corporate and individual donorsEvaluate and report the effectiveness of marketing efforts to ensure achievement of marketing goals.Coordinate "Brand Management" efforts.Coordinate the design and production of high-quality marketing materials, including:Brochures and flyersInformational packetsVideosDirect mail materialsMedia announcementsWeb-based materialsBanners and other promotional itemsCoordinate and manage effective public, social media, and community relations: (English and Spanish)Write news releasesArrange media interviewsHandle media at District eventsDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with members of the media and community organizations, including parent-teacher organizationsCoordinate the production of special events such as groundbreaking and dedication ceremoniesRepresent Trinity Basin Preparatory at a variety of events and deliver presentations to diverse audiencesWork collaboratively with a wide variety of district staff and external organizations to achieve the marketing goals of the organizationCreate, maintain and update district social media presenceUnderstands and complies with all district policies, procedures, and expectations as communicated by administration.Performs other duties as assigned.Skills/QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.RequirementsBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Degree in marketing or communications preferred).At least five (5) years of relevant experience, seven (7) to ten (10) years preferred.Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
