This entry-level position cross trains in front desk and clinical duties, allowing you to gain hands-on experience and develop your knowledge in both areas! If this sounds like the right environment for you, keep reading!
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
As our entry-level Front Desk - Clinical Assistant, you'll typically work from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and occasional Fridays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm .
This position is at the center of our daily operations, working closely with the care team to efficiently meet patients' needs. We'll cross train you on what you need to know, and you'll spend each workday focusing on either clinical or front office responsibilities (you won't have to switch back and forth during the day).
While at the front desk, you'll maintain a positive attitude as you answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out. You'll provide patients with great customer service as you collect payments, answer questions, and assist in other areas as needed. On the clinical side, you'll help update patient records, take photographs and diagnostic images, and support the orthodontic team with various clinical needs. REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to cross train in clinical and front desk responsibilities
While not required, our ideal Front Desk - Clinical Assistant has at least 1 year of front office, orthodontic, or dental experience. Bilingual communication skills would also be a bonus! What matters most is that you're helpful, upbeat, and motivated to do the best you can for our patients.
