Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,164 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Somerset, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Somerset, NJ. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 30 hours Shift: 10 hours, day shifts Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an SLP, you will be responsible for assisting patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments and evaluating and developing a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to individual needs. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. BLS certification ASHA‑SLP National Certification State‑specific licensing Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Preference for 2 years of experience Job ID #1428288.
