In this crucial role, you will act as the primary point of contact and coordinator for our programs, leveraging your expertise to develop comprehensive recovery plans for a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed reviews of contract and design requirements to ensure the acceptance of quality notifications, actively tracking project schedules and deliverables, and collaborating closely with the Unit Manager to optimize contract performance metrics. Your experience will be beneficial as you interface with both Design and Manufacturing Engineering teams to effectively manage changes to component designs and support quotes for new work by reviewing technical requirements and preparing precise person-hour estimates. Interface with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to manage change to component designs Support quotes for new work by reviewing technical requirements and preparing person-hour estimates Perform special assignments as deemed necessary.Required Qualifications: BQ – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Nuclear or Manufacturing Engineering Technology; or Physics Preferred Qualification "PQ" – Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Civil Engineering Two or more years engineering experience required The ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance is required. US Citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience providing engineering support in a heavy manufacturing environment.
